Man this a hard question to answer since there are so many scenes that I love, but I really love how it deepened our understanding of Tifa’s perspective of Cloud. She always understood and admired him, even if she wasn’t super close to him as they grew older. One of my favorite passages is after the boys leave and Tifa begins spending more time alone, and she often thinks a bout Cloud and his loner self, and she admires him for the way he carries himself. That quiet admiration, even after he is gone is so sweet, and it’s a recurring theme even as she gets older.

One of my headcanons is that all that time that Cloud and Tifa spent running back and forth between each other’s homes, they were playing “house” and Tifa would always play the bossy mommy, and Cloud the dad who would do everything she asked xD

For me it started when I played the OG which was probably around 1999. I was immediately drawn to Tifa as a character and the potential love interest after reading the game insert, but after beginning my playthrough and reaching the Promise scene in Midgar, that sealed it for me. Everything that came after that in the game for me only further solidified my love of the ship, especially the Lifestream scene, Mideel, the HW, and NC.

I will say, though, I did not become the obsessive brainrotted cloti I am now until I played Remake in 2020. That game and the ReTrilogy thus far has just amplified my love for them to the point that I literally haven’t been able to stop thinking bout them for the last 5 years, lol.

Definitely hard to say amongst fanartists in general, so many of them do amazing NSFW art, though Spykeee is definitely one of my favorites.

As far as renders/animation goes. I would have to say AriesPossession as well. Their attention to detail is unmatched and i love that they keep the characters in canon. And yes, they are a very kind person too!
